Human Resources Officers to be based in Solwezi, North-Western Province, Zambia.
Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Solwezi or those willing to relocate.
These are full-time positions reporting directly to the General Manager.

Job Purpose
To support the HR department in delivering effective human capital services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance in a dynamic mining and extraction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring timely hiring and integration of new staff.
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with statutory and internal requirements.
- Monitor time and attendance systems and support payroll preparation.
- Provide first-line support on employee relations matters and disciplinary processes.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned to organizational goals. Support the performance appraisal process and follow up on action plans.
- Facilitate employee welfare and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate internal trainings and maintain training records.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety policies, and HR best practices.
- Prepare and submit periodic HR reports to management.
- Ensure employees adhere to to the code of conduct and business ethics.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR experience, preferably in mining, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Solid knowledge of Zambian Labour Laws and HR compliance frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHRM).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure in remote or high-demand environments.
Location Requirement
- Candidates based in Solwezi will be given preference.
- Willingness to relocate to Solwezi is essential for non-local applicants.
