The Company Seeks the Services of a Miner In Charge x4

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Carry out mining tasks in strict adherence to established standards, procedures, mining and explosives regulations while ensuring consistent, high-quality work and safe operational practices.
• Perform routine checks of the work area, equipment, and ventilation systems to identify and address potential hazards before they impact operations.
• Make the area safe where danger may arise due to mining operations.
• Observe and enforce the mining and explosives regulations.
• Be in charge of the safety and health of all employees under his supervision.
• Drive the health, safety and environment standards/policy awareness and practice in the Department to ensure compliance.
• All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Blasting license for all mining operations.
• Valid first Aid certificate.
• Must have worked not less than 2 years’ experience in the mining industry preferably underground.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
