Meltz Zambia is seeking a skilled and reliable Accountant and Admin Assistant to join our team in Lusaka. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting and administrative support, with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Sage accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Sage
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
  • Handle statutory returns and compliance tasks (ZRA, NAPSA, etc.)
  • Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, and correspondence
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
