JOB DETAILS:
Main Responsibilities
• Good understanding of accounting principles including accrual accounting, reconciliations, general ledger journals and financial reporting.
• Commitment to the Vision and Purpose and alignment to the values of the organization
• Demonstrated team work skills.
• Good communication skills with a wide range of people.
• Ability to work autonomously, effectively managing own workload without continual guidance.
• Attention to detail and good time management and self-organization skills
• Reconciliation of actual Receipts to Sales in Sales receipts control accounts for each store in Pastel
• Analysing ALL bank statements, coding and posting transactions to the relevant account/ supplier codes in Pastel.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements;
• Diploma in Accounting, (degree in Accounting is an added advantage)
• Experience working in the Hospitality Industry
• 2+ years experience in a accounts assistant role
• Experience with computer software ( including accounting software)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Organized and ability to be able to prioritize
• Ability to demonstrate high degree of attention to detail, accuracy and integrity.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
