Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistants to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in ledger entries, and experience with reconciliations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to, journal entries, general ledger operations, and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Sound knowledge of tax filing, returns for NAPSA, NHIMA and compliance
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related professional qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
