Zambia Sugar Plc. is the leading Sugar producer in Zambia, involved in the growing of sugar cane, production, and marketing of sugar and other sugar downstream products.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Maintain sustainable professional relations with operations supervisors and operators.
• Carry out daily/weekly physical inspections of control & field instrumentation machinery and equipment.
• Assess and evaluate equipment faults using RCA methodology.
• Tune and optimize control loops to achieve optimum functionality.
• Plan and organize work and resources for stop-day, shutdown, and off-crop jobs.

Qualifications or requirements:

• Certificate in Control systems, mechanical fitting, electronics, or Field Instrumentation.
• 3 years post qualification structured competence building program in instrumentation.
• 6 years post qualification competence building program in instrumentation for equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge in Field instrumentation, maintenance tool set, engineering computer station.

Experience needed:

Detailed knowledge of field process instrumentation equipment, calibration standards, and techniques.
