osition Overview:
The Barman will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages while delivering exceptional service in a refined and elegant environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of mixology, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes
- Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests at the bar
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times
- Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed
- Ensure all beverages are served responsibly and in line with legal and resort guidelines
- Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and provide knowledgeable service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Support bar opening and closing procedures
- Collaborate with restaurant and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a bartender or barman in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and courteous attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Certification in bartending or mixology is an added advantage
- Responsible and trustworthy with handling of cash and alcohol
