These are the crucial requirements needed to join Caravel Partners’ Business Development Team: you are a driven investment / insurance sector client prospector with previous Call Centre / Business Development experience, ideally in the financial services sector in Zambia. You are determined to take charge of your own income. You have the fire inside you to succeed and are not deterred by hard work. Your work will be office-based.

Education: No particular requirement, but Grade 12 / College degree preferred. Just as important is your prospecting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and make appointments for the company’s Investment Advisors through cold-calling, networking, your own contacts, referrals and targeted Activations.

• Act as an Insurance sales agent each afternoon.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams effectively and creatively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or customer service in the financial services industry.
• Higher skill set in interpersonal relationship building and communication.
• Very goal-oriented with a drive to succeed and exceed targets.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• You have a working laptop or tablet as well as a smart phone.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
