As a Country Lead you are sharp, talented, and passionate professional to develop an outstanding relationship with our customers and grow the company’s businesses for the Airtime Credit and Mobile Financial Services (ACS & MFS) by promoting Optasia’s products to new clients & territories in Zambia.

What you will do
• Establish productive and professional long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including service, technical support, finance, marketing and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer’s expectations
• Optimize service performance from a financial point of view
• Assess, clarify and validate customer needs, including roadmaps and tenders, on an on-going basis
• Monitor the market and competitor activities
• Regular reporting on sales activities, opportunities, threats, project progress etc.
• Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives and financial targets
• Drive solutions-orientated efforts that address the customer situation
• Act as a first-line contact point for compliance issues in local territory
• Assist Compliance Department with implementation and evaluation of governance and compliance frameworks across in local territory, monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies and keep up with the ever-changing regulations environment
• Provide insight to Compliance department to develop, document, update and maintain compliance and regulatory protocols and policies in line with local regulations.
• Liaise with external experts to identify risks, best practices, and expectations and, when appropriate, negotiate with external regulatory agencies and the competent authorities
• Represent the organization with shareholders, Governmental regulatory authorities, and be the face of the local business in the eyes of the public.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures
• Achieve assigned service performance targets from SLA and financial perspectives
• Achieve sales targets for new business (cross-selling opportunities)
• On-time payment collection
• Complete strategic account plans
• Active member of integration project team and ensure on-time service launches
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
• Arrange meetings between CXO level account personnel and the company’s management

What you will bring
• 8 Years of verifiable experience in Large Account Management
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing or related disciplines
• Proven sales track record of Mobile Financial Services, Consumer/SMME lending, Fintech Company and/or new Fintech client origination experience.
• Sound understanding of the culture, politics and (regulatory) policies in Zambia and a good insight into the telecom industry
