Chreso University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Digital Marketing Officer to be based at its City Campus in Lusaka:
JOB PURPOSE
The Digital Marketing Officer shall be responsible for developing and executing online strategies in order to increase brand awareness, drive leads and boost engagement.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
a) Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
b) Executing campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, search engines (SEO/SEM/PPC), email, and display advertising.
c) Overseeing the creation and management of engaging digital content, such as social media posts, visuals, and website content.
d) Managing and growing the University's social media presence, including community management and engaging with followers.
e) Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance using metrics and KPIs to provide insights and optimize strategies.
f) Working with other teams to ensure brand consistency and consistent messaging across all digital channels.
g) Staying updated on emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
a) A Grade full 12 School Certificate with credits in English and Mathematics
b) A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
c) Digital marketing or social media marketing certification.
d) A minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in digital marketing, including successful campaign management.
e) Hands-on experience in areas such as social media management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and lead generation.
f) Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager).
g) Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics is a must for data-driven decision-making.
h) Basic graphic design skills with familiarity in tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and video editing software is an added advantage.
i) Knowledge of email marketing software, SEO tools (like SEMrush), and content management systems (like WordPress).
j) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
k) A data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills for interpreting campaign performance and make informed adjustments.
l) A proactive and creative approach to new ideas and marketing strategies.
m) Strong organizational skills in order to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
