We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:
Position: Driver Salesman (Commission based)
Location: Lusaka
Contract: One Year(1Year) Renewal based on performance.
Reporting to the Sales Representative, the successful candidates will be accountable for the following:
- Meeting sales targets by actively promoting and upselling products.
- Provides information on sales forecast for designated route.
- Ensures loading of quantities that meets the demands of the route serviced.
- Ensure that cash is always kept safely.
- Cash sales balancing with stock sold and balance back (returns).
- Adequate servicing of route be delivering beer at the customers convenience
- Reduced or no losses of beer.
- Crates collection from the Market.
- Cash sales reconciling with stock sold and balance.
- Returnable empties reconciling with the due refundable deposit. Returnable inspected to ensure re-usability before payment of refundable deposit.
- Vehicle is driven safely and in full compliance with traffic regulations and company safety standards.
- Timely delivery of products according to the designated route and schedule.
- Zero preventable accidents, Vehicle damages, or traffic violations recorded, and basic vehicle repair knowledge.
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
- Has authority to represent NB externally as a sales person
- Has authority to communicate with consumers/customers on beer quality queries and to report such queries to management for attention.
- Has authority to investigate and identify potential market areas.
- Has authority to plan, recommend route sales target.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field
- No previous Criminal records.
- Arithmetic ability
- Valid Defensive driver’s certificate
- CE valid driver’s license or better
- 3 years minimum driving and experience
- PSV is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate well, customer centric and should have a clean record.
- Team player
- Ability to adhere to instructions, with minimum supervision and hard work
- Sober mind, self-starter physically fit and honest
