Company Overview

Zamwide Sustainability Resources is an Environmental Consulting firm that offers sustainability and consulting services to help large organizations, small projects, developers and similar enterprises and communities. The company is based in Kabwe district and operates anywhere in Zambia, where project development takes place.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with developers, government agencies (e.g. ZEMA, WARMA, Forestry Department, e.t.c)
  • Prepare EIA reports, technical documents, and presentations for the developer and other stakeholders.
  • Recommend mitigation measures for negative environmental and social impacts.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements meetings during the EIA process.
  • Attend to Grievances emanating from the EIA process.
  • Conduct site visits during the EIA process to fulfil the requirements of the EIA Regulation (SI 28 of 1997).
  • Coordinate communication with the community developers and government agencies.
  • Production of mapping for project assets during the EIA process.
  • Attend regular EIA meetings, ranging from scoping meetings to public hearing meetings organised by ZEMA and other Environmental and Social Consultants.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to carryout site works.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or any related field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • School Certificate
