JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Psychiatry Faculty member will train students in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders, with a focus on clinical reasoning and empathetic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures on psychiatric disorders, therapies, and mental health legislation
- Supervise students in psychiatric units or clinical environments
- Foster awareness and sensitivity to mental health issues
- Participate in mental health advocacy and curriculum development
- Guide students through case-based discussions and simulations
Requirements:
- MBChB and Master’s Degree in Psychiatry
- Minimum of 3 years lecturing experience
- Excellent interpersonal and psychological teaching skills
- ZAQA verification of all qualifications is required

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
