We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of a leading business in Zambia. The Finance Manager will provide strategic leadership across Finance, Audit, Procurement, and Stocks functions. The role will ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, strengthen internal controls, enhance cost efficiency, and support management through timely reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting in line with IFRS and Zambian statutory requirements.
  • Manage cash flows, liquidity, tax compliance, and overall business sustainability.
  • Establish strong internal controls and oversee internal and external audits.
  • Lead procurement strategy, ensuring transparency, value-for-money, and compliance.
  • Oversee inventory and stock management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree an added advantage).
  • Full professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years’ progressive finance experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution sectors preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Zambian tax laws, IFRS, and ERP systems (Sage X3 desirable).

  • High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
