You’ll work with cross-functional teams, from project managers and engineers to board leadership and external investors. You’re expected to drive transparency, accountability, and rigor—so that every Kwacha flowing through our operations reflects opportunity, efficiency, and long-term value creation. Essentially, you will lead our financial operations, enhance profitability, and empower sound investment decisions across our expanding business portfolio.

You’ll shape our financial strategy, align our multiple business lines with sound fiscal management, and build the systems and investor narrative to secure future capital and credibility. What You’ll Do

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and investment appraisals across all business units.
Monitor financial performance; analyze departures from targets and recommend corrective actions.

2. Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet Management

Oversee consolidated and segmented P&L statements; enhance revenue visibility and cost control.
Strengthen the balance sheet through debt restructuring, asset optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.

3. Cash Flow & Loans Management

Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, payments, and collections.
Structure financing that converts short-term liabilities into growth assets.

4. Investment Packaging & Pitching

Create investment-grade proposals, valuations, and prospectuses—especially for real estate, infrastructure, and agricultural projects.
Engage with investors, equity partners, and financial institutions to secure capital.

5. Financial Governance & Reporting

Implement robust accounting controls, policies, and compliance with local/international standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and external investors.

6. Strategic Leadership

Collaborate cross-functionally to support commercial decisions.
Develop systems and digital tools to enhance insight, efficiency, and reliability of financial data.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor’s (preferably Master’s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in finance leadership roles within diversified or multi-business environments; strong project financing and P&L exposure.
Analytical Strength: Expert in financial modeling, investment analysis, and KPI-driven decision-making.
Leadership: Proven ability to build systems, lead finance teams, and influence commercial stakeholders.
Communication: Excellent presentation, report-writing, and investor engagement skills.
Ethics & Integrity: High personal and professional standards—transparency, trust, and financial accountability.
Certification: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ZICA or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications: Diploma in Automotive Mechanics (Degree is a plus). Experience: 4 years in a busy state-of-the-art workshop (repairing heavy and light-duty vehicles in a supervisory role). Self‑Starter: Proactive, curious, self-driven, and ready to challenge norms. Tech Savvy: Proficient with diagnostics software; eager to learn new tools. Excellent Communicator: Ability to interact with customers and vendors; team-oriented. Customer‑Centric: Understands the importance of client relationships and reliable delivery.
