JOB BRIEF
To provide accurate, data-driven insights and forward-looking analysis that support eShandi’s strategic decision-making, budgeting and investment planning as the company scales across Africa.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses and cash flow projections.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Track financial KPIs and business metrics across products (lending, payments, merchant services, etc.).
• Conduct variance analysis to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Assess financial viability of new product launches, market expansions and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with actionable insights.
• Support investor relations by producing financial presentations and data packs.
• Provide cost-benefit analysis for operational and capital expenditure projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; Power BI/Tableau experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in FP&A, preferably in fintech, banking, or high-growth startups.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
