Position Overview:
The Fine Dining Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all front of house operations in our signature fine dining restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences that reflect the luxury and excellence of Ciela Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of fine dining service, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the fine dining restaurant, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver world class hospitality
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to maintain alignment between kitchen and service
- Oversee guest reservations, floor plans, and dining flow
- Ensure all service standards, health, safety, and hygiene regulations are upheld
- Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and efficiency
- Manage inventory, supplier relations, and operating costs effectively
- Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management
- Support other food and beverage operations as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Extensive knowledge of food, wine, and fine dining etiquette
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management is an advantage
- A polished, professional demeanour and guest-oriented attitude
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests at the bar Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed Ensure all beverages are served responsibly and in line with legal and resort guidelines Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and provide knowledgeable service Handle cash and card transactions accurately Support bar opening and closing procedures Collaborate with restaurant and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Prior experience as a bartender or barman in a fine dining or luxury hospitality setting Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and courteous attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Certification in bartending or mixology is an added advantage Responsible and trustworthy with handling of cash and alcohol
