Responsibilities or duties

The successful candidate will:

• Utilize differentiated instructional strategies to plan learning activities and classroom groupings.
• Develop and implement rigorous, age-appropriate lesson plans and assessments.
• Work closely with school leaders to analyze pupil assessment data, monitor progress, and inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams to review pupil work, share best practices, and plan academic events.
• Engage families through strong relationships and consistent communication to support pupil learning.
• Demonstrate genuine care, belief, and commitment to pupils’ personal and academic success.
• Commit to continuous professional growth, self-reflection, and openness to feedback.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Education, Experience, and Skills

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Education with a record of academic and/or professional achievement.
• Valid TCZ Certification (completed).
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a private school.
• Proven experience teaching in upper school.
• Strong commitment to pupil achievement with high expectations for all learners.
• Ability to motivate, support, and challenge pupils in a child-centered, standards-driven classroom.
• Positive mindset with a strong drive for personal and professional excellence.
• Resilience and a solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
• Outstanding instructional skills informed by data and delivered through engaging, rigorous strategies.
• Full Grade 12 Certificate.
