Company Overview
We are a diversified Group of Companies with over 20 operating entities across multiple industries in Zambia. We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and commercially astute Group General Manager to provide executive leadership, drive performance, and ensure effective coordination and governance across all companies within the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the Group of Companies
Oversee and coordinate the performance of Managing Directors, General Managers, and senior leadership across all subsidiaries
Develop and implement Group-wide strategies, policies, and performance frameworks
Drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth across all business units
Ensure strong corporate governance, risk management, and compliance across the Group
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and reporting at Group level
Identify new business opportunities, expansions, and strategic partnerships
Act as the key link between the Board of Directors and subsidiary management
Strengthen systems, controls, and standard operating procedures across all companies
Lead executive decision-making and manage high-level stakeholder relationships
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred
Minimum of 12–15 years’ senior management experience
Proven experience managing multiple businesses or subsidiaries within a group structure
Strong track record in strategy execution, financial management, and leadership at executive level
Experience reporting to and working with Boards of Directors

Strong commercial and financial acumen
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
Excellent governance, risk, and compliance awareness
High integrity, professionalism, and decision-making maturity
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
