Job Purpose:

To provide administrative and operational support in the day-to-day running of the Human Resources Department, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and personnel files.
  • Support recruitment activities such as posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and preparing onboarding documents.
  • Assist in processing employee leave applications and maintaining leave records.
  • Support in preparation of HR reports, memos, and correspondence.
  • Help in organizing staff training, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in monitoring attendance, punctuality, and other HR-related compliance matters.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR or administrative role (an added advantage).
  • Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • Knowledge of HR procedures and Zambian labour laws is desirable.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Computer literate (MS Office applications).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
