The primary role of this position is to work closely with the respective stakeholders to ensure implementation of HR processes and procedures at the respective locations including ensuring HR compliance and risk management.
- industrial Relations: This involves acting as a liaison between management and labour unions to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees by following the correct interpretation and application of the disciplinary code and conditions of service to ensure consistency
- Employee Relations: Developing and implementing policies and programs to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. This includes addressing employee grievances, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and the bank’s policies
- Policy Development: Creating and updating HR policies and procedures related to industrial and employee relations to ensure they align with legal requirements and best practices.
- Oversees and ensure employee grievances and disciplinary matters are handled in line with Company policies, country legislations and best practice
Experience
3 years plus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent course.
Software
Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent understanding of labour laws of Zambia.
Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
must be full paid member ZIHRM.
