Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Data Management:  Maintain and update employee records – physical & soft copies
  2. Payroll Management: Ensure all new joiners and exits are captured in the monthly payroll adjustment
  3. Recruitment & Selection: participate in the sourcing, shortlisting and interviewing of candidates.
  4. Performance Appraisal Management: Participate in the performance appraisal processes – appraisals/evaluations/data management and deployment of appraisal outcomes.
  5. Industrial Relations Management: handle employee relations, address grievances, counselling and participate in disciplinary sitting processes and implement approved DS recommendations.
  6. Data Management of statutory/regulatory deductions documentations: NAPSA/NHIMA/Private Pension Scheme.
  7. Data management for group vacations and leave process management
  8. HR Analytics: monthly report on all HR value chain – recruitment/exit/disciplinary issues/demographics etc.
  9. Assist in Employee Engagement
  10. Arrange logistics for all HR deployed meetings.
  11. Salary Survey for all local roles.
  12. Research and advise the department on best practice with regards to local laws & regulations
  13. Other responsibilities as reviewed and assigned
  14. Medical Insurance Management

Required:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Relations or any related Social Science related field
  2. Professional certification from Zambian Institute of Human Resources Management (ZIHM) is a must have.
  3. Minimum of 3years working experience as a human resources professional preferably within the transport and hospitality industry.
  4. Working knowledge of all Zambian Employment Laws & Acts is a must have.
