Job Title: Internal Auditor
Location: Luapula Water and Sewerage Company Limited – Head Office – Mansa
Reports to: The Audit Committee (Functionally)
Reports to: Managing Director (Administratively)
Luapula Water and Sewerage Company Limited is a commercial utility which was set up to provide water and sewerage services to all districts in Luapula Province. The Company was incorporated as a private company limited by shares, under the Companies Act (Cap 388 of the Laws of Zambia) in December 2008. The Company’s mission is to effectively provide water and sanitation services to the urban and peri-urban areas of Luapula Province in a manner that maximizes value for money for all stakeholders. In pursuance of this mission, the Company is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the vacancy of INTERNAL AUDITOR.

1. Establish and implement the annual Audit Plan.
2. Establish and implements the Audit Charter.
3. Review the internal control environment.
4. Provide assurance of governance processes.
5. Recommend corrective measures to strengthen controls.
6. Recommend compliance to statutory framework and policies.

Skills and Qualifications
Full Grade 12 school certificate
Full ACCA or full CIMA or full CA Zambia
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Member of ZICA,
Professional qualifications, i.e., CISA, CIA, CFE
Possession of a driving license
