THE ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION WHOSE MISSION IS TO ’PREVENT, INVESTIGATE, PROSECUTE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO SAFEGUARD PUBLIC RESOURCES AND PROMOTE FAIRNESS IN SERVICE DELIVERY’’ INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS;
a) Job Purpose
To undertake the investigation of suspected corruption and related offences in order to determine appropriate action.
b) Principle Accountabilities
- To undertake effectively the receipt and processing of complaints in order to determine their credibility and appropriate action
- To undertake effectively the investigation of cases of suspected corruption in order to determine appropriate action
- To undertake effectively the restricting, seizing and storage of property suspected to be proceeds of crime in order to facilitate forfeiture of such property and prosecution of offenders
- To undertake effectively the serving of summons to witnesses in order to facilitate preparation for trial
- To undertake effectively provision of Case Officer testimony in court in order to facilitate prosecution of cases
c) Qualifications
- Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences
- Aged between 30 and 35 Years
d) Communication Skills
i) Written Skills
Ability to write technical and analytical reports
ii) Oral Skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
e) Other Skills/Attributes
- Computer literate
- Initiative
