The key purpose of this role is to ensure alignment to overall business strategy, deliver Service Level (OTIF), Volume and Safety for the operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safety is first priority in the operations
- Execute the strategy for T1, T2 Warehouse capacity and operations.
- Ensure Inventory Control and SCOH cost control
- Deliver Variable Logistics Cost (VLC) results for the Warehouse
- Execute VPO Means and standards, Drive innovation, benchmarking & process improvement initiatives to improve the Sustainable VPO KPIs and Operational KPIs.
- Develop & implement strategic plans to reduce operating costs & improve customer service throughout the T1/T2 Warehouses
- Developing annual ZBB Budget plus analyze and report and rectify any deviations throughout year
- Plan for CAPIN/CAPEX including timing and execution of spend
- Support implementation of Champion’s/VA initiatives

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics or any other business-related field
- 5+ years in FMCG, Warehouse & Inventory management, supply chain management and operating at a managerial level
- Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Credibility within the business
- Familiar with local market environments
Prepare for plant start up. Start up plant. Run the plant. Shut down the plant. Execute cleaning of plant Complete all documentation. Control inputs usage Ensure plant is in working order. Maintain safe and healthy work environment. Measure performance attributes Record performance attributes Monitor and evaluate trends. Assure quality of inputs Initiate corrective action. Prepare for maintenance tasks. Conduct autonomous maintenance tasks. Conduct breakdown maintenance tasks. Reduction in time to detect and time to correct defects. Completed 5 Whys Job cards. General housekeeping at work area Implementation of VPO routines Adherence to PPE policy Identification of unsafe practices (SIOs) Safe maintenance practices Maintenance tools in good working order
Grade 12 N3 in a Technical Trade preferable 2 years experience in preferably a brewing environment PC literate (Microsoft/SAP)
