MAIN DUTIES:

  • Conduct inspections daily/ weekly / monthly of outlets
  • Identify areas for improvement and take care of issues
  • Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Perform troubleshooting to solve minor and major repair issues
  • Communicate plans for upper-level improvements and preventative maintenance to the

Operations Manager

  • Assist and supervise contractors as they perform their services/repairs
  • Oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Perform administrative tasks as required
  • Maintain maintenance supplies and inventory.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing maintenance procedures and ensure

implementation

  • Ensure H&S records are maintained
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with and maintain a safe and hygienic work

environment

  • Attend any meeting or training session as required by Management
  • Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
  • Supervise and schedule the activity of Maintenance Operatives

PRIMARY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally a skilled and proficient technician in a certain field. E.G Carpentry, Artisan etc.

Ability to create a maintenance schedule

  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures,
  • Ability to self manage and to take ownership
  • Ability to find problem areas, develop solutions and to get the job done
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, gas, electrical systems etc.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is conversant and complies with:

o The company fire and health and safety procedures

o The company security procedures

o The property facilities

o Licensing regulations

o Operation standards and departmental procedures
