We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our camp maintenance operations. This role oversees all repair, maintenance, and technical support functions to ensure our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest guest standards.
Job Description
- Assign the engineering team according to daily work schedule, to handle planned maintenance and respond to guest requests and emergency situations.
- Supervise the engineering team in the effective completion of their duties
- Work with other operational departments to ensure that they have all required engineering support to perform their duties.
- Check air conditioning, water, fire safety systems of the camp and maintain them according to required standards.
- Close coordination with all other departments of the camp to maintain their equipment in day-to-day operation.
- Support external inspectors in the execution of their inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of camp infrastructure.
- Manage inventory, tools, and maintenance records,
- Coordinate major repairs and contractor work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a maintenance supervisory role
- Relevant Diploma
- Strong leadership and technical skills
- Experience in remote or hospitality environments preferred.
- Full grade twelve certificate
- Should have a strong track record of leadership
