ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Personal Assistant to the Human Resource Manager located in Lusaka. Personal Assistant to the Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration and compliance with labour laws. Day-to-day tasks include developing HR policies, managing staff records, conducting training and development programs, and advising management on HR matters. The role involves maintaining a positive workplace environment and improve workplace culture and ensuring that HR practices align with the company’s strategic goals, employees’ expectations and the Labour Law of Zambia.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Human Resource Management, Recruitment, and Employee Relations skills
- Experience in Benefits Administration and Performance Management
- Strong knowledge of HR Policies and Labour Laws
- Ability to manage conflict and solve problems effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have more than 2 years work experience in Human capital utilisation and mmaintenane
- Must be ethical and professional
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field
- Must be up to date with the national current affairs, ILO (International Labour Organization) news letters and updates, local deliberation on labour laws and amendments of the industrial laws and general current affairs.
- Ability to display high EQ Emotional Intelligence and IQ intelligence quotient.
- Must be analytical and statistical
- Must be Symmetrical
- Attention to critical detail
- Target oriented.
- Relevant certifications such as ZHRM
- Must reside near the company.
- Must have a motor bike licence and motor vehicle licence.
