JOB DETAILS:
REPORTING TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY:
The position of Manager Procurement is a middle management position and the job holder is responsible for ensuring that all procurement functions are aligned to the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Provide research, administrative, and technical support to staff on the procurement of qoods and services to ensure accuracy, timeliness of information, and compliance with governing legislation, policies, and procedures. Provide support in preparation, processing, and maintenance of procurement instruments and contracts in accordance with internal controls and relevant public sector procurement legislation.
• Coordinate, participate, and/or process various procurement activities including bid openings, change orders, security deposits, progress payments, contracts, etc.
• Assist with the administration of annual service and supply Contra
• Develop and malntain supplier relationships. Maintain the Computerized Procurement System.
• Liaise with suppliers and staff on matters relating to procurement, internal controls, and relevant legislation Coordinate delivery schedules, monitor progress, and liaise with clients and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Provide input and maintain relevant policies and procedures including contract administration manual and procurement templates.
• Maintain electronic and manual procurement records.
• Responsible f development of departmental goals and objectives and management of the operating procedures and departmental budgets so that the organization meets financial goals. Produce reports for Chief Executive Officer, Board of
• Directors (BOD) and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Participate in Procurement Committee meetings and other meetings as directed by the Chief Executive Oficer to represent the interests of the Company.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply or Business
• Administration and/or related field from an institute of recognizede standing. Completion of a recognized procurement designation.
• Must have 10+ years of related experience as a procurement officer in large public and or private institution.
• Must be prepared to undertake further development o business or internal andetKIS through participation in training and development.
• Possess initiative and mature judgment with the ability to make and implement sound decisions.
• Must be a member of ZIPS

An initial contract of three (3) years fixed term contract.
