Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our field operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of Field Officers, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of projects, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence. You will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving your team to achieve set targets and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Supervision:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five Field Officers and one Cleaner.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and one-on-one sessions.
    • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for team members.
  • Operational Management:
    • Develop weekly/monthly work plans and allocate tasks to Field Officers.
    • Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
    • Oversee the use and maintenance of field equipment and resources.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Compile, analyze, and submit accurate and timely reports on field activities, progress, and challenges to senior management.
    • Ensure all field data is collected systematically and stored securely.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Represent the organization in meetings with community leaders, partners, and local authorities.
    • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Compliance:
    • Proactively identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
    • Ensure all field operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a field-based environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Salary: K1,500
