Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and field-oriented Marketing / Business Development Manager to grow our business in PVC & HDPE pipes, solar water pumps, and solar power solutions across Zambia. The role involves extensive travel, long-distance driving, and hands-on market development in urban and rural regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand market presence for PVC & HDPE pipes, fittings, solar water pumps, and solar power solutions across Zambia.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Conduct extensive field travel and long-distance driving to cover towns, farms, mining areas, and project locations.
  • Generate business from contractors, farmers, irrigation projects, EPC contractors, mines, NGOs, institutions, and government bodies.
  • Promote solar pumping solutions for irrigation, borewells, and community water projects.
  • Promote solar power solutions including off-grid, hybrid, and backup systems.
  • Identify project opportunities, collect technical requirements, and coordinate quotations and proposals.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure repeat business.
  • Collect and report market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends.
  • Support product demos, dealer meetings, and local promotional activities.
  • Submit regular activity and market visit reports.
  • Ensure safe driving and proper care of company vehicle and assets.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Salary will be decided mutually and paid either in India or Zambia, equivalent to Indian Rupees (INR) value.
  • Leave Benefits: Two (2) months fully paid leave every two years.
  • Travel & Immigration: All international and local travel, visa, work permits, immigration, and medical expenses will be fully borne by the company.
  • Accommodation & Food: Bachelor accommodation and food will be provided by the company.
  • Other Benefits: Company vehicle / travel support for field work, Medical support as per company policy, Long-term career growth opportunity.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in PVC/HDPE pipes, solar pumps, solar power systems, irrigation, or building materials preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Zambian market conditions.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field.
