Background
The Judiciary is an independent arm of Government established under Part VIII of the Constitution (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2016. Its mission is “To administer justice to all in an independent, impartial, competent and timely manner”. In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to be considered for the following positions:
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to report to the Resident Magistrate at the station and will be responsible for the following:
- Undertake regularly and safely the transportation of the officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate their mobility.
- Undertake timely the preparation of accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making.
- Undertake timely the completion of log books in order to enhance accountability for journeys.
- Undertake timely the inspection of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their road worthiness.
- Undertake effectively the cleaning of the vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use.
- Undertake timely the reporting of the vehicles faults in order to facilitate their resolutions.
Qualifications
- Grade Nine (9) Junior Secondary School Certificate
- Driver’s License
- Government Competence
Experience
- Two years driving experience
