JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The PBI-SDS is the information technology technician in the project who create software artefacts required to implement Health Service Demand Creation and Service Provision business processes. The PBI-SDS shall work hand in hand with the PBI Systems Development Advisor to implement electronic interfaces to Project Business Process Protocols.

Duties:
Specifically, the PBI Systems Development Specialist shall perform the following duties:
1. Based on the Business Process Designs from the PBI Systems Development Advisor, create electronic web and mobile based software artefacts required to implement Health Service Demand Creation and Service Provision business processes – RIMS.
2. Provide customization services on RIMS as the Project Business Process Reengineering may dictate in the course of offering Total Quality Health Service Provision
3. Provide USAID DISCOVER Health RIMS Systems Maintenance, updates and upgrades support to ensure that it is operating effectively and efficiently at all times.
4. Provide technical Support to all units on the utilization of RIMS
5. In consultation with unit heads, support training in the User Management and Utilization of RIMS to all users in the project
6. Support PBI in generating Weekly RIMS Hub activity trend analysis report charts per unit for Hub Management Decision Making
7. Support PBI in generating Weekly RIMS Hub Service Provider and CHW trend analysis performance Charts for Hub Management Decision Making
8. Support the all units in the project in generating all relevant reports that are needed for on time management decision making
9. Support generation of any kind of report that management may need from RIMS

Qualifications:
1. Must have minimum of a diploma or degree in information technology from a recognized college or university;
2. Three years relevant work experience
3. Must be able to show high level programming ability skills;
4. Must be a team player;
5. Must be an excellent communicator;
6. Must be willing to travel frequently, in country.
