We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and skillful Primary School Teacher to join our expert team. JOB PURPOSE:
As a Primary School Teacher at Chengelo, you will make the education and well-being of your pupils your first concern. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of conduct while fostering the “whole child”—intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. In addition to classroom responsibilities, you will be expected to undertake a weekend boarding duty approximately once a month.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- A relevant University Degree and a recognized teaching qualification.
- Must be a licensed/registered teacher.
- Confidence in spoken and written English.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Curriculum: Experience delivering a British-based curriculum (or similar) is highly desirable.
- Pastoral Care: Experience working with, caring for, and supervising young people. Experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.
- Character: High levels of energy, an even temper, a sense of humor, and the ability to remain proactive, flexible, and reliable.
- Classroom Management: Ability to forge positive professional relationships with parents and the confidence to uphold school rules with integrity.
