Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Programmes Officer to support the design, development, and implementation of various projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in proposal development, resource mobilization, and providing oversight during program execution to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead resource mobilization efforts by identifying and engaging potential donors and partners, developing targeted strategies to enhance funding opportunities for project initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and design innovative projects that align with organizational goals, ensuring all designs are feasible and impactful.
  • Assist in drafting and editing project proposals, ensuring they meet donor requirements and effectively convey project objectives and methodologies.
  • Provide oversight for programme implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor project activities and progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while providing regular updates to management.
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders, including partners, beneficiaries, and donors, to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Sociology, Social Sciences.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or related roles
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Teams etc.
