Job Purpose:
To provide secure, reliable, and efficient transportation services for personnel, cash, and minerals between project sites, regional offices, and designated financial institutions. The role is responsible for ensuring vehicle maintenance, strict adherence to safety and security protocols, and providing timely logistics support for field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport personnel, cash, and minerals to designated locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to the supervisor promptly.
- Strictly comply with all company safety procedures and Zambian traffic laws.
- Ensure the secure handling and custody of all transported goods.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Maintain accurate logbooks for all trips, fuel usage, and mileage.
- Support field operations by delivering equipment, supplies, and documents.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- General Certificate of Education (GCE)
- Class C Driving Licence or PSV Licence with a clean record
- Crafts Certificate in Mechanics or Crafts certificate in Auto Electrical is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ driving experience, preferably in corporate, security, or mining environments.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and defensive driving skills.
- Experience in secure or cash-in-transit operations will be an advantage.

- Trustworthy and discreet.
- Alertness and strong sense of responsibility.
- Punctuality and discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local and regional routes.
