Background:

Zambia Sugar Plc. is an ABF Group sugar company and is the leading sugar producer in Zambia. Its main activities are the growing of sugar cane, the production and marketing of sugar and other sugar downstream products.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing wage inputs for seasonal employees.
  • Checking over time sheets.
  • Ensuring that employees are paid in time and correcting errors on payroll.
  • Preparing wage inputs and wage summaries.
  • Processing IOU requests and other administrative tasks.
  • Raise and follow up on all work orders for the department.
  • Document all necessary documents as may be required by the department.
  • Maintain a database of, track and send out updates to management on all audit findings, external or internal, that require follow up by the department to ensure timely close out.
  • Promote and adhere to ABF Group’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).
  • Execute any other duties that as assigned to by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Diploma in Business administration of 3 years training duration from a recognized institution.
  • Must be computer literate with high proficiency in MS Office.
  • Preferably 1 year experience in similar role.
  • Experience in record management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
