The key purpose of this role is to ensure that territory volume targets are met, market execution is to standard, opportunities maximized by planning, managing, auditing & coaching Sales Reps strategy & execution.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
GTO
- Mix optimization based on agreed KPIs
Sales Volume
- Achievement of agreed company Volume targets for Beer.
Market And Promotion Execution
- Availability standards, Space (BOB &Fridge space), Impactful Merchandising, Price adherence, Quality and KPI standards maintained.
- Implement & control all consumer & customer promotions.
Asset Control
- Ensure all assets are performing according to KPI standards.
- Adherence to CAP’s agreed with the Trade Marketing guidelines
Business Plan Implementation
- Implement all programs agreed in the annual business plan relevant to your area and span of control in terms of timing, standards & cost etc.
- Plans presented and reviewed quarterly to the District Managers & refocus where necessary.
Sales Opportunities
- Volume opportunities addressed appropriately.
- Eg. Dry areas, New distributors/Depots.
Customer Relationship
- Accountability for customer service improvement & maintenance.
- Key outlets in the region managed. Ie. Distributors & Key outlets based on Micro segmentation.
Route Management
- Volume targets are understood by Distributors and subordinates.
- Take lead in Daily delivery days and route adherence.
- TAT adherence
- Manage the sales and Logistics process
- Incentives programme managed.
- Effective DMS Management between ZB & Distributor.
- Ensure DMS KPIs achieved in conjunction with DMS team.
- Present monthly DMS report for DM & RTM review.
Administration
- Weekly & Monthly sales report: volume & GTO.
- Monthly KPI report analysed
- Monthly GOALS status updated
- Competitor activity report
- Coaching & In trade execution report
People Management
- Implement Performance Management.
- Identify and Address Training Needs.
- ABI University completion.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Must be motivated with an excellent work ethic
- Must be proactive in approach to routine tasks & problem solving
- Must be target achievement focused
- Good communications skills, both verbal & written
- Good numeric skills
- Take a leadership and mentorship role
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Business Studies
- Work Experience: 2 years in FMCG
