Position Summary

The Finance & Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day administrative operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and experience within a service-driven or logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including invoicing, receipting, payables, and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, and financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets
  • Ensure timely billing of customers and follow-up on outstanding debtors
  • Ensure Compliance to Statutory obligations and established internal procedures.
  • Manage payroll, statutory deductions, and tax compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities(ZRA,ZICTA,NAPSA,WORKERS COMPENSATION E.T.C)

Administration

  • Supervise administrative staff and office operations
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational records
  • Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Support management with financial analysis and reporting
  • Oversee procurement, supplier management, and office administration

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
  • Must be a member of ZICA
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in accounting and administrative management
  • Experience in a courier, logistics, transport, or service-based company is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Pastel accounting software and MS Excel
  • Understanding of local tax and statutory requirements

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
