This role reports to the Director Commercial Services. The job holder will provide functional expertise and execute Commercial Marketing and Advertising services, in line with the relevant legislation, policies, strategies, processes, procedures and required standards, and in alignment with the division strategy
Key Performance Areas
- Carrying out bank reconciliations. Provide technical input into the development of Commercial Services operational strategies
- Formulate Commercial Marketing and Advertising plans and objectives in line with the Operations and Service Management operational plan
- Execute the operational plan, processes and procedures to achieve strategic objectives of the Commercial Services Unit
- Formulate a comprehensive and integrated Commercial Marketing and Advertising strategy and plan for the company
- Collaborate with Commercial Services team, as well as Air Navigation and Airport Services Business Development teams in defining and achieving commercial targets
- Conduct research and keep abreast of new commercial marketing, sales and advertising methodologies, systems and best practices to ensure sound organisation evidence-based decision making
- Contribute to building and elevating the ZACL brand and positive corporate image to achieve marketing objectives
- Support aeronautical and non-aeronautical business development and commercial to ensure revenue enhancement
- Design marketing and advertising material and conduct commercial marketing and advertising campaigns for existing and planned facilities and services
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Monitor and report on progress against Commercial Services strategic initiatives
- Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Establish and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in the relevant internal and external governance structures/committees.
- Identify strategic projects that need to be undertaken in the unit
- Prepare project definition and detailed plans, inclusive of detailed project and team plan and other resources
- Drive and support the implementation of the specialised areas initiatives and strategic projects that address the needs and expectations of ZACL’s various stakeholders (including participation within roadshows)
- Present project plans, progress and outcomes to applicable forums and committees
- Manage project progress and monitor projections
- Any other related duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 ‘O’ Level Certificate with minimum of five (5) credits which must include Mathematics and English Language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related social science
- Masters in Business Administration, Marketing or any Social Science is an added advantage
- Masters in Business Administration, Marketing or any Social Science is an added advantage
Experience
- 5 years of work experience in a relevant field with at least 2 years supervisory experience.
- Member of Zambia Institute of Marketing
