Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance customer satisfaction through quality support and high-level service. This role involves managing clearing, loan repayment, reconciliation processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will contribute to the bank’s profitability and maintain excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include operational risk control, fraud prevention, efficient cost management, and oversight of high-value transactions and account reconciliations.
Summary of primary responsibilities is provided below:
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry for both Hub (Global Business Services) and Country postings
- Manage and achieve all defined and agreed service quality measures in all outsourced/migrated services
- Ensure compliance to credit policy guidelines
- Processing oversight of Direct Receipt Entries, Capital Reduction, Refunds, Early settlements
- Processing oversight of Credit Cards Repayment and Reconciliations
- Processing oversight of Overdraft processing and Reconciliations
- Processing, investigating and oversight of all suspense accounts and their reconciliations under Servicing & Transacting i.e. Visa, National Financial Switch (NFS) , Mobile Money, Clearing, Lending operations, Disbursement accounts, Insurance accounts, Agency Banking etc.
- Processing and monitoring of Cardless withdraws.
- Having oversight on all Transaction Processing versus General Ledger reconciliations and resolving breaks arising.
- To investigate and attend to queries pertaining to customer accounts
- To ensure work and in coming cheques conform to money laundering regulations
- Ensure risks identified are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner
- Ensure adherence to the Group and local Departmental Operating Instruction and process notes in the processing of all activities
Qualification,Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 o'level credits or better including mathematics and english
- Relevant University degree
- Zambia Qualifications Authority ( ZAQA) verification certificates for all qualifications
- Min 3 years relevant experience in lending operations
- Cheque clearing experience
- Electronic payment platforms e. ewallets, mobile money
- Account Reconciliations – Reconciliations, Loan Repayments Processing, Debit & Credit Cards Reconciliation and Query Management, Cheque Clearing processing, ATM/POS reconciliations and Mobile Banking Operations
Languages
- Investigation of open account items
- Knowledge of banking systems
