Location/ Duty Station: Ministry of Health Headquarters, Lusaka
Reports to: The Social Specialist will report to the Project Coordinator and the Assistant Director Health promotion and Community Health and shall closely work with the Director of Public Health, Director of Policy and Planning and other PIU members of the project as well as the World Bank TTL and Task Team.
Job Purpose
To manage overall social safeguards of the Project and the implementation of the Project-specific safeguards instruments with the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) including a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) for addressing any concerns and grievances raised.
Qualifications
- A full Grade Twelve (12)/Form 5 School Certificate with minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level credit including English Language and Mathematics.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Economics, Sociology and related Social Science.
- Master’s in Sociology, Economics or Public Health or relevant field will be an added advantage
