POSITION OVERVIEW

The Stock Controller will be oversee and manager stock in BME Zambia, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing of waste and optimizing the flow of stock.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the movement, storage and trucking of products.
• Placing orders to replenish inventories
• Oversee stock audits
• Maintain accurate record of stock according to stock management systems according to set standards.
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure stock is available
• Conduct regular stock counts
• Track and ensure timely delivery of stock
• Work closely with site administrators
• Identify potential areas of stock loss or theft and implement measures to stop shrinkage
• Develop processes that ensure accountability for inventory handled in various sites

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in any stock management software.
• Strong knowledge of excel and data analysis.
• Good computer skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work long hours during busy periods.
