We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead and manage our Supply Chain and Logistics Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing and implementing strategies, and ensuring efficiency and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Your Role

Provide inclusive leadership and effective management of departmental staff, including onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, goal setting, and, where necessary, corrective actions, in alignment with company policies and values.
Oversee the daily operations and workflows of the Supply Chain and Logistics Department, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all functions.
Develop, implement, and continuously monitor supply chain strategies that promote operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Analyze inventory levels, procedures, and demand forecasts to ensure optimal stock availability in support of Sales, Aftermarket, Service, and Distribution functions.
Maintain accurate and detailed inventory records across all company locations, ensuring availability of required quantities to meet business needs.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, service delivery, and overall profitability.
Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across logistics and supply chain functions.
Manage inbound and outbound transportation, including import/export processes, shipping, and warehouse logistics.
Assess and recommend appropriate warehouse space, staffing levels, and material-handling equipment to support efficient operations.
Optimize transportation routes and identify consolidation opportunities to improve warehousing and distribution efficiency.
Lead negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to secure favorable rates and service terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of resources and transparency across the supply chain.
Provide strategic advice to the Country Manager and Business Line Managers on transport availability, logistics costs, Incoterms, and tariff classifications.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct qualification assessments for new suppliers as needed.
Ensure full compliance with trade regulations, certifications, and internal logistics standards.
Oversee logistics operations across all branches, including service contracts and consignment stock management.
Contribute to broader company initiatives, including strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.
Implement all logistics-related rollouts in alignment with Atlas Copco Group standards.
Support distributors with accurate and timely shipping and customs documentation.
Facilitate the implementation and use of ordering platforms, such as One Portal, for all distributors.
Manage and maintain Smart Stock systems to ensure data accuracy and inventory control.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.
What We Expect From You

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably in a similar industry.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics operations, and inventory management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement process improvements.
Knowledge of trade regulations, Incoterms, and tariff classifications.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
