JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
The Waiter will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, courteous, and professional service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer guest questions about food and beverages
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining high service standards Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and maintained throughout the service
- Handle guest complaints or requests with poise and professionalism
- Process bills and handle payment transactions accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine selections, and daily specials
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, well-groomed, and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food and wine service etiquette
- Team player with a positive attitude
