Background information about the job or company:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse & Administrative Assistant to support both warehouse operations and administrative functions within our agricultural business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Assist in receiving, recording, and dispatching stock and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock reconciliations.
- Coordinate stock movements between branches, customers, and suppliers.
- Support procurement and logistics functions to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, and stock registers.
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
- Assist in preparing reports related to warehouse operations and stock levels.
- Ensure the warehouse area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications or requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in warehouse or administrative support, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication, time management, and record-keeping skills.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
