The Company Seeks the Services of an Artisan Plant Fitter x4

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Ensure optimum plant/equipment availability.
• Ensure strict adherence to statutory and Domestics regulations particularly those relating to safe working practices in order to prevent injury to a person and damage to company machinery.
• Adhere to all the health, safety and environment standards / Polices and ensure compliance at all times.
• Keep equipment safe to prolong service life.
• Conduct planned adhoc plant maintenance as well as repairs to plant and equipment in accordance with the job card instructions and as per drawing.
• Utilise correct materials and consumables as per the specifications and location.
• Ensure that lock out tag out procedures are followed at all time where applicable.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Craft Certificate in Plant Fitting
• A Technician’s Certificate in Plant Fitting will be an added advantage
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• 2 Years experience
• Must be physically fit and with the ability to work with the relevant tools.
• All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.

Level of Education: professional certificate
