About the Clinic Administrator Role

The Clinic Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery, support our clinical teams, and actively uphold our mission and vision. This is a key leadership position requiring strong organizational, interpersonal, and management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall administrative leadership for clinic operations
  • Manage staffing schedules, human resources processes, and staff development
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with national health regulations and licensing requirements
  • Maintain facility standards, procurement systems, and inventory controls
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care practices
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leadership and community partners
  • Represent the clinic in external meetings and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of administrative or management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in budgeting, HR management, and operations oversight
  • Knowledge of Zambian health systems is an advantage
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and community-focused healthcare
