Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Financial Consultant to advise clients on suitable financial solutions and drive sales of microfinance products. The role focuses on client acquisition, financial needs analysis, and long-term relationship management while meeting individual and team performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, acquire, and onboard new clients through field, digital, and referral channels.
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend appropriate products including life cover, funeral plans, education plans, and savings solutions.
  • Explain product features, benefits, terms, and premiums clearly and ethically.
  • Assist clients with applications, documentation, and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow up on leads, renewals, and policy servicing.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and activity targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Stay up to date with product offerings, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and support functions to improve performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, insurance, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in the field.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with mobile/digital tools.
  • High level of integrity and customer focus.
