Wah Kong Enterprises Limited seeks to recruit highly motivated and committed employee for the position of Project Manager

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible to oversee the development and execution of Wah Kong Enterprises Limited. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, town council and government officials to ensure that project is completed on time.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage all aspects of Housing project execution including but not limited to schedule development and management, budget development and management, internal approvals, design and construction document production.
  • Manage all aspects of the development but not limited to schedule development and management, budget development and management, internal approvals, design and construction document
  • Responsible for ensuring project is executed within defined schedule
  • Review all proposed Housing plans and construction documents to identify possible value engineering and cost reduction opportunities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects relating to the housing project
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation for the planning and implementation infrastructure and housing project.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Manage project resources, including contractors and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including government officials and employees
  • Identify and address any project-related issues or challenges
  • Prepare and present project status reports to site

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering or commercial field.
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in managing large-scale housing projects, preferably in an international context.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proven leadership and team management skill
